The Novels By Britt Wolfe

Welcome to The Novels, a section of my site that exists because I was finally brave (or tired) enough to stop hoarding my stories like emotionally charged dragon treasure. These are the books I’ve written in the quiet hours and chaotic ones, with coffee in my veins and doubt in my lungs. Most started as whispers, half-formed what-ifs that refused to shut up until I gave them a place to live. If you're here, you're either curious, lost, or one of my friends—so thanks, in advance, for reading the inside of my head and my heart. It’s… crowded.

My writing tends to lean heavily on love, grief, ghosts (emotional and otherwise), and the ways we fall apart trying to hold on to something that once made us feel safe. So if you’re into heartbreak, haunted memories, and very bad decisions wrapped in poetic language, you’ll probably feel right at home. If not—there’s always TikTok.

Fading Away - Coming May 15th

Fading Away is a time-bending, heart-wrecking novel about grief, addiction, and the desperate hope that maybe—just maybe—we can still save the people we’ve already lost. Set between present-day Seattle and the early 1990s, it follows James Smith, a recovering addict haunted by the death of the woman he loved, who discovers a shimmer in a moss-covered shed that sends him back to the year of his birth. There, in the grunge-slick heart of a city on the edge of legend, he sets out to find the man whose suicide changed everything—Ashley’s father, Michael White—and give him a reason to live. Inspired by the legacy of Kurt Cobain and the generations left in the wake of his death, Fading Away is a story about what echoes, what breaks, and what might still be rewritten, if you get there in time.
