Poetry And Prose Series By Britt Wolfe

I never thought I’d be the kind of person to write poetry, let alone publish it. But here we are—me, a walking existential crisis with a laptop, stringing together words and convincing myself that staring out the window dramatically counts as “the creative process.” Poetry and Prose is a collection of deeply personal, wildly unhinged, and occasionally coherent thoughts about love, loss, feminism, and, of course, my deeply codependent relationship with my husky, Sophie. It’s a series for anyone who’s ever felt too much, loved too hard, or just needed a reminder that emotions are, in fact, not a sign of personal weakness (despite what every emotionally repressed man in history might tell you). These books are my heart on paper—messy, complicated, and probably crying about something. Welcome to my brain. It’s a weird place, but I hope you’ll stay awhile.

Each book in the series has its own particular flavour of emotional damage. Nevertheless, She Raged is my battle cry, an ode to the righteous fury of women who are tired of asking nicely. Our Love Is A Verb is about love in motion—the kind that stays, fights, and holds your hair back when you’re sick. Daddy Issues is exactly what it sounds like, so let’s all pretend to be shocked. And A Girl and Her Wolf is an entirely sincere, possibly excessive, love letter to my husky, Sophie, who may or may not be my soulmate (I’ll let you decide). So, if you’re into feelings, feminism, or emotionally devastating dog content, you’re in the right place. Buckle up—it’s going to be a ride.

A Girl And her Wolf - Coming August 1st

Some love stories aren’t written in words—they’re written in paw prints on the heart, in morning walks through the frost, in the quiet presence of a companion who asks for nothing but your time. A Girl and Her Wolf is a poetry and prose collection about devotion, companionship, and the kind of love that doesn’t need to be spoken to be understood. It’s a love letter to Sophie, my fiercely independent, endlessly loyal, and occasionally unhinged husky, and to every animal who has ever made a human’s life whole. This collection explores the wildness and wonder of loving something untamed—the way huskies are built for adventure but somehow always find their way back home. It’s about the boundless joy of zoomies in the snow, the way ears perk at the crinkle of a treat bag, and the unbreakable bond formed through trust and time. But it’s also about the hard parts—the worry, the heartbreak, the knowledge that forever is never long enough. Still, if there’s one thing Sophie has taught me, it’s that love—real, unwavering, paws-on-your-shoulders love—is always worth it. This book is for anyone who has ever found their soulmate in a four-legged shadow, who knows that the best kind of love waits patiently by the door. A Girl and Her Wolf, Volume IV of Poetry and Prose, is coming August 1st.

Daddy Issues - Coming July 1st

Daddy Issues is a poetry and prose collection about the complicated, messy, and often painful relationship between a father and daughter—the love that was given, the love that was withheld, and the quiet ache of wanting something that was never quite there. It explores the contradictions of a father’s presence, the way disappointment carves itself into your bones, and the way a father’s love—or lack of it—shapes every love that comes after. But this book isn’t just about grief—it’s about unlearning the belief that love has to be earned, about breaking the cycle, and about becoming whole despite the gaps left behind. It’s for the daughters who have spent years untangling themselves from the past, rewriting the narrative, and deciding they are enough, with or without him. Daddy Issues is not a love letter, and it’s not an apology—it is a reckoning. It’s for every daughter who has ever stood in front of a locked door, waiting for it to open. Daddy Issues, Volume III of Poetry and Prose, is coming July 1st.

Our Love Is A Verb - Coming June 1st

Our Love Is A Verb is a poetry and prose collection about the kind of love that isn’t just felt but lived—the kind that moves, bends, and grows, the kind that chooses, again and again, even on the hardest days. Love is not just grand gestures and cinematic moments but quiet acts of devotion—the hand on the small of your back, the cup of coffee waiting on the counter, the way home stops being a place and becomes a person. This collection explores the breathtaking, all-consuming kind of love that sets your world on fire, but also the steady, unwavering kind that stays when the flames settle. It’s about how love deepens in the small moments, in the laughter between arguments, in the way you reach for each other without thinking. At its heart, Our Love Is A Verb is an ode to a love that is fiercely chosen—a love that is not passive but active, that asks for effort and gives it in return. It’s a tribute to my own great love, my life’s best decision—the man who has been my home, my anchor, my greatest adventure. If you’ve ever looked at someone and thought, I would choose you in every lifetime—this book is for you. Because love isn’t just a feeling. It’s a verb. Our Love Is A Verb is coming June 1st.

Nevertheless, She Raged - Coming May 1st

Nevertheless, She Raged is a battle cry wrapped in poetry and prose, a love letter to every woman who has ever been told she is too much—too loud, too emotional, too ambitious, too angry. It explores the many shades of female fury, from the quiet simmer of exhaustion to the wildfire of righteous indignation, diving into the weight of societal expectations, double standards, and the impossible tightrope walk of being just enough but never too much. But this book isn’t just about rage—it’s about power, resilience, and the women who came before us, who fought battles we weren’t supposed to win, who carved out spaces for us with their bare hands. It’s about sisterhood, the love that rebuilds us when the world tries to break us, and the relentless fire that keeps us standing. Unapologetically feminist, defiantly hopeful, and a little bit unhinged, Nevertheless, She Raged will make you laugh, cry, and maybe want to set something on fire. If you’ve ever swallowed your anger to make others comfortable, if you’ve ever felt injustice burn in your chest but had nowhere to put it, this book is for you—because we are done asking nicely. Nevertheless, She Raged is coming May 1st.
