Soul Sisters, Bound Beyond Time

Soul Sisters Poem By Britt Wolfe Author

We met in laughter, in shared secrets whispered beneath the stars,
Two hearts colliding like twin comets, leaving trails that never fade.
Who said soulmates must wear romantic skins?
Ours were woven from the threads of midnight talks and daylight dreams.

You, my anchor in life’s stormiest seas,
The voice of reason when my wild heart roared too loud.
We’ve held each other’s hands through love’s euphoria and heartbreak’s abyss,
Through the mundane magic of coffee-stained mornings and tear-soaked nights.

Our friendship is a fortress, weathered and unbreakable.
Time tried to pull us apart; distance dared to cast its shadow—
But here we stand, still, woven together by the invisible threads of us.
Because true friendship doesn’t just survive—it thrives.

You are the sister my heart chose.
The lighthouse when I drift too far, the map when I forget the way.
We’ve built a history from fragments of joy and shards of sorrow,
A mosaic of moments that time can’t erase.

And if soulmates do exist beyond romance, beyond fleeting kisses and stolen glances,
Then we are the proof, the anomaly, the beautiful truth.
Because love isn’t just found in passion’s fleeting heat—
It’s here, in the steady warmth of a hand held without question.

So here’s to us—to the bonds that defy definition,
To the stories etched in our laughter, the scars we’ve shared, the dreams we’ve chased.
To the promise that, come what may, we will always find our way back.
For we are more than friends; we are soul sisters, bound beyond time.

Britt Wolfe

Britt Wolfe writes emotionally devastating fiction with the precision of a heart surgeon and the recklessness of someone who definitely shouldn’t be trusted with sharp objects. Her stories explore love, loss, and the complicated mess of being human. If you enjoy books that punch you in the feelings and then politely offer you a Band-Aid, you’re in the right place.
