Instagram can be a difficult place to grow—especially when you're creating great content and wondering whether anyone is actually seeing it.
So, I'm putting together an Engagement Circle of 30–50 bookish and author accounts who want to support one another and grow together.
How It Works
The Engagement Circle takes place in a private WhatsApp group and is exclusively for Instagram.
When a member shares a new post, everyone in the Circle engages with it by:
💚 Liking
💬 Leaving a genuine comment
🔖 Saving
✨ Sharing to your Stories
🔁 Reposting
Before you share your own post in the group, you must first complete the engagement on every post that has been shared before yours.
That way, everyone gives before they receive, nobody gets left behind, and every member benefits equally.
This is the one rule I'll be strict about: if you repeatedly share your own posts without completing the required engagement first, you'll be removed from the Circle.
It's not meant to be harsh—it's simply what makes the Circle work and keeps it fair for everyone.
WHO CAN JOIN?
I'm looking for 30–50 active bookish Instagram accounts—authors, readers, reviewers, Bookstagrammers, writers, and anyone else creating content around books.
There is no follower minimum.
This isn't about having a huge audience. It's about helping each other build one.
ONE IMPORTANT THING
This only works if everyone participates.
If you're sharing your own posts with the Circle, please make an effort to engage with everyone else's too.
If someone consistently drops their links without supporting other members, I'll quietly remove them to make room for someone else.
No drama. No public shaming. No ceremonial banishment. Probably.
